Shareholder and Category
Individual, Local Company or Foreign Company
A corporate shareholder means the ownership question is not answered yet. That is the point at which you either trace the chain upward or accept an unknown.
Number of Shares
Per holder, per class
Percentages drive control thresholds. Anything above 25 percent is the level at which Singapore treats a holder as a registrable controller.
Share Type
Ordinary or Preference
Preference shares often carry no votes. A holder with 30 percent of the equity and none of the voting rights is a materially different counterparty than the raw percentage suggests.
Currency
Denomination of the holding
Multi-currency share capital is common in Singapore holding structures and changes how paid-up capital should be read.
